The Aqua Dome was delighted to be a part of the official launch of ‘Tralee by the Sea’ on the Wild Atlantic Way, a new brochure displaying all the top attractions and activity providers in the charming coastal town of Tralee which guarantee wonderful experiences and fantastic memories. All the top activity and attraction providers in Tralee collaborated and came together to showcase the variety and diversity of activities and attractions on offer in Tralee and they are proud and delighted to reach this important milestone in putting ‘Tralee by the Sea’ on the map as a top coastal tourist destination on the Wild Atlantic Way.
Tralee, the capital town of Kerry, is a beautiful vibrant town magnificently situated at the mouth of Tralee Bay on the Wild Atlantic Way and at the foot of the impressive Slieve Mish Mountains. Mary O’Connor manager at the Tralee Bay Wetlands was involved in the design of ‘Tralee by the Sea’ brochure. She said many tourists and visitors to Tralee did not realise that Tralee was situated by the sea and was on the Wild Atlantic Way and it was time to get that message out there. Together with Kieran Galway from Tralee Bay Wetlands and Mags O’Sullivan from the Aqua Dome they worked with all the other stakeholders to produce this wonderful new brochure showcasing ‘Tralee by the Sea’ and Sandra Leahy marketing officer with the Kerry County Museum is doing a fantastic job distributing these brochures all around Kerry and beyond.

Mags went on to say that ‘Tralee by the Sea’ brochure has been warmly welcomed by all the hotels, caravan parks, accommodation providers, tourist offices, Tralee Chamber Alliance and other tourism related providers and partners as they are delighted to be able to promote to their guests such an array of fabulous attractions and activities in scenic surroundings on the Wild Atlantic Way.
‘Tralee by the Sea’ showcases all the local premier attractions and activities on offer and there is something to suit everyone’s budget & taste! Learn about local history at Kerry County Museum, enjoy a unique experience at Ireland’s largest working Windmill and Model Railway at Blennerville Windmill Centre, take a safari boat ride and learn about local wildlife at Tralee Bay Wetlands or simply enjoy leisurely walks and cycles on the stunning canal which stretches from Tralee town to Tralee Bay. For those feeling adventurous there are many options to choose from: Explore the underground passages of Crag Caves, swing a club & hit a few balls at The Golf Doc, go swimming, coasteering & kayaking with Wild Water Adventures, canoeing, power boating, water slides and trampolines with Splash Sports or kite surfing and surfing with Kingdom Waves .
