The Aqua Dome is delighted to be celebrating its 30th birthday on the 14th of May this year. Centre Manager Mags O’Sullivan said management and staff are delighted to reach this milestone and are looking forward to many more successful years ahead. We have had many happy customers over the years and lots of wonderful memories have been created here. In fact, children that came here years ago on their school tours are now returning with their own children and this is testament to the popularity of the Aqua Dome with young and old alike.
Being a major tourism asset to the entire county the Aqua Dome helps to contribute millions to the local economy. It has been and continues to be an important resource for the town of Tralee and the Kingdom of Kerry. The Aqua Domes location along the Wild Atlantic Way has also proven to be a bonus as visitors stop off on their journey to enjoy some splish-splashing fun.
Tropical temperatures are all year-round in the Aqua Dome and customers can enjoy swimming laps around the lazy river, surfing the waves, riding the river rapids, splashing around in the kiddies area, relaxing in the whirlpool spas, getting fit in the gym or simply chilling in the adult only Vitality Spa.
Private swim lessons are available along with personal training for the fitness enthusiasts. A variety of massage and beauty treatments are also available along with a Poolside Café on site which offer a selection of tasty eating options.
An 18-hole miniature Aqua Golf course is situated alongside the Aqua Dome and it is great fun to play. It is situated in beautiful landscaped surroundings incorporating exciting water features and is another attraction that is enjoyed by young and old alike.
