Last weekend Aqua Dome staff participated in the Tom Crean Dingle Challenge raising much needed funds for Kerry Cancer Support Trust. Over €8,500 has been raised so far thanks to the generosity and goodwill of all those who have donated and supported this fundraiser. This fundraiser would not have been possible without the exceptional organisational skills of Kieran O’Callaghan, Pa O’Sullivan and Daniel Bohan and all those people who supported the event.
Kerry Cancer Support Group is a fully registered charity and was founded in 2007 and has gone from strength to strength since then. Their Mission – No one should face their cancer journey alone: Kerry Cancer Support Group is devoted to maintaining a warm, welcoming environment while ensuring that service users have immediate access to their free programmes and resources. Their professional staff strive to help people affected by cancer in a way that is as supportive and helpful as possible to achieve the highest quality of life. Kerry Cancer Support Group is a community-based, volunteer-driven, community-supported organisation.
The Aqua Dome Gofund me page is still open for those who wish to still donate to this worthy cause.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank everybody for their support, good wishes and their goodwill towards this event.
Check out Shane Murphys video (ONIT Media) who did an excellent job in recording the whole event.
