Another family shared, “A fantastic family fun day! 5 ⭐️’s! A firm family favourite! We have made many trips to The Aqua Dome in Tralee and it is the perfect combination of thrills, relaxation, and family-friendly variety, all in one convenient spot.
From the moment you step inside, it’s clear this place is designed for families. My kids (ages 3 to 12) were immediately drawn to the bright children’s pool complete with bubble slides, fountains, mushroom sprays, and water jets—a real hit for the little ones. Meanwhile, older kids and adults zipped down the high-speed flume slide, tackled the river rapids, floated the lazy river, and we even caught some “waves” in the wave pool (when I wasn’t hiding in the Spa!)
What impressed me most: there’s something for every age. After a few spins down the slides, I slipped into the spa for some peace! The sauna suite and in particular the heated loungers instantly soothed my tired muscles- all I was missing was a cocktail!
Location-wise, it’s fabulously accessible: just off Dan Spring Road, only a short walk from Tralee town centre, making it easy to slot into a day exploring Kerry, regardless of the weather. Whether it’s raining or roasting, this indoor oasis guarantees fun and comfort.
The Aqua Golf, a lovely dry alternative for anyone who wants a break from the water. Great for kids, or even competitive parents!!
On the practical side, the facilities feel well‑maintained, staff are friendly and attentive, and changing rooms are tidy with handy amenities like hair‑dryers. Definitely worth a visit while you’re in the Kingdom!”
