Yes!

  1. Young babies get cold quickly and easily so water temperature is important. The main pool of the Aqua Dome is maintained at 29C and the whirlpool spas at 31C.
  2. Young babies under 3 months require a water temperature of 32C and so the Aqua Dome is not suitable nor recommended for their use.
  3. For babies over 3 months water should be 30C so use of the Aqua Dome is at the discretion of the parent.
  4. If the baby starts to shiver, get out of the water, dry your baby and get them warmed up.
  5. Proper swimming nappies must be worn by all babies.
  6. Babies as long as they are well, can be taken swimming once they have had their immunisation jabs.
  7. Do not spend too long in the pool with your baby. No more than 30 minutes for the first few sessions is recommended.
  8. If you are worried about your baby’s health, or have a specific query, talk to your GP or other health professional.
  9. If your child has had diarrhoea, wait for two weeks after it clears before letting them enter a swimming pool.

A. No, but we do have hand dryers which customers use to dry their hair. We have one wall socket for personal hair dryer use in the vanity area.

A. You need a €1 coin to operate the locker which is refundable.

A. A 'Pay As You Go' membership means you pay a nominal fee to become a PAYG member.

A 6 month adult PAYG member is €65  & a 6 month family PAYG is €100 and then pay only €6 adult and €5 junior per admission.

A 12 month adult PAYG member is €100 & a 12 month family PAYG is €160 and then pay only €6 adult and €5 junior per admission.

A. Yes, we advise if you are a weak or strong swimmer to wear armbands.

A. The water is shallow in the kiddies area and is 3 foot around the lazy river. The deep end is 1.8 meters.

A. The water is 29.5 degrees celcius.

A. Yes, towels are not provided. We sell them for €12 at reception.

A. Yes, the Aqua Dome pool is safe and enjoyable for babies, toddlers and children of all ages.

A. You can stay in the pool as long as you like...there is no time limit! Groups get to spend between 1.5 to 2 hours.

A. No, swim hats are not compulsory.

A. All children under 8 years of age must wear armbands and be accompanied by an adult at all times. If a child under 8 is a competent swimmer then their parent or guardian can sign a waiver to accept full responsibility of their child without wearing the armbands.

We hire armbands for €2.50 or sell them for €6.
