‘Tralee by the Sea’ video puts Tralee on the map as a Top Tourist Destination on the Wild Atlantic Way!

'Tralee by the Sea' is the gateway to the Wild Atlantic Way! Following on from the successful launch of the new ‘Tralee by the Sea’ brochure earlier this year, this week saw the launch of the new ‘Tralee by the Sea’ video which showcases a local family enjoying all the top attractions, activities and adventures in the beautiful Tralee Bay area. 

Tralee has magnificent scenery, rugged mountains, stunning beaches, diverse indoor and outdoor activities, excellent retail outlets, wonderful hotels, accommodation and restaurants along with great night entertainment…something for everyone to enjoy!

Mags O’Sullivan Centre Manager at the Aqua Dome said ‘the aim of this video is to showcase Tralee as one of the top tourist destinations along the Wild Atlantic Way’. Mags continued to say ‘once people see this video they will be inspired to visit Tralee and experience all the wonderful  hospitality, activities and adventure this coastal town has to offer’.

Learn about local history at Kerry County Museum, enjoy a unique experience at Ireland's largest working Windmill and Model Railway at Blennerville Windmill Centre, take a safari boat ride and learn about local wildlife at Tralee Bay Wetlands or simply enjoy leisurely walks and cycles on the stunning canal which stretches from Tralee town to Tralee Bay. For those feeling adventurous there are many options to choose from: Explore the underground passages of Crag Caves, swing a club & hit a few balls at The Golf Doc, go swimming with Swim the Kingdom, sailing with Tralee Bay Sailing Club, coasteering & kayaking with Wild Water Adventures, canoeing, power boating, water slides and trampolines with Splash Sports, horse riding with Tralee Equestrian Centre, kite surfing and surfing with Kingdom Waves or Step into Liquid with Offshore Surf School.

  

For an indoor experience there are many activities to whet your appetite: enjoy splashing fun in the Aqua Dome one of Irelands best loved Waterworlds, experience the thrill of Kerry’s only indoor Bowling and Skywalker at Bowling Buddies or super kiddies fun in the popular soft play adventure facility The Playdium. For an evening of culture, entertainment and live performances you can take in a show or workshop in Irelands National Folk Theatre, Siamsa Tire. Members of ‘Tralee by the Sea’ network closely with Tralee Chamber Alliance, Kerry County Council, Failte Ireland, Destination Kerry, Tourism Ireland and other local businesses and networks in an effort to develop tourism in Tralee. Mags continued to say “there is no other town in the country that has so much to offer locals, families, day-trippers, tourists and holiday-makers alike to suit everyone’s taste and budget”.

'Tralee by the Sea' members also support green initiatives, sustainability and positive environmental change wherever possible.
